Project Description

The PERG, a project launched by the Moroccan authorities and the National Electricity Office (ONE) in 1995, aims to bring electricity to the whole country, especially rural areas. It is financed and supported by the French Development Agency (AFD) and is currently in the 5th phase.

The final aim of this ambitious initiative is the electrification of 449 villages.

The electrification of these regions will be carried out either by linking them to the interconnected grid or in a decentralized manner, thanks to photovoltaic equipment. High-voltage lines and source stations are also included in this project.

These infrastructure developments will allow Morocco to meet a growing demand for energy. Advanced Vision Morocco is privileged to be a part of Morocco’s development.
